NOS Turn Signal Stalk
I know it's been discussed a couple of times that the replacement signal stalk has a small shelf under the cruise on/off button. I found this correct NOS piece for a 1987 and older (maybe 88 also) Camaro with cruise and intermittent wipers that does not have the shelf. This stalk looks identical to my car.

Looking at the Firebird side of things here are the different levers.
82-87 - 22510143 (Exclude pulse wiper (CD4) Cruse(K34))
82-89 - 22510732 (Exclude Pulse Wiper & Cruise)
82-87 - 22510144 (W/Pulse wiper (exc Cruise)
82-90 - 22510733 (W/ Pulse Wiper (Exclude Cruise)
82-83 - 25031479 (W Cruise - W/O Pulse Wiper)
84-88 - 25111263 (W/ Cruise W/O Pulse Wiper)
91-92 - 22510733 (Exc Cruise Control K34))
82-83 - 25031478 (W/Pulse Wiper & Cruise)
84-89 - 25111262 (W Pulse, W Cruise)
90-92 - 25111209 (W Cruise)
This is the best I could make of the Parts Catalog.

Like John said, lettering is mint, but it was a rough 30-ish years in that box.

I think there is a line hunting for this same switch. My stalk still looks good. Both my left and right signal work but right signal won't lock in....left will signal, tough but locks in.
any ideas Okfoz?

I'm hunting for an 89 switch. GTA, intermittent wipers, cruise, steering wheel controls & VATS.

Re: NOS Turn Signal Stalk
This is correct. Switch is off the shelf part. Unless you have a digital dash in that GTA, in which case it takes a special switch that has a optical sensor that transfers the data for the radio controls on the steering wheel.

Re: NOS Turn Signal Stalk
When I converted from the aftermarket cruise system in my Iroc over to GM parts, I looked around at cruise control stalks. After about a week or two of watching what they were going for, and scrutinizing ebay pics, I went with the $15 reproduction that mostly looks right. At the end of the day, it's close enough, and it looks the part. Sure an original would be nice, but at a certain point it all comes out in the wash. Price, condition, function, and close on form was good enough.
To be honest, the $$$ cruise stalk I got from the dealer for my Formula is nearly as far off from the original as the $15 repro is from what my Iroc would have had. Diminishing returns.
