I say that above because I was at a guys house a few months back & we walked past a 4Runner that they keep as an extra car. Then he mentioned he
has it on craigslist in case somebody wants it more than he wants to keep it. So, I looked for it when I got home later that day & sure enough. It was listed for sale with nice pictures at about 5K over book value. If people had to pay for adds like we did 30 years ago in the classified section of the news paper, these crazy priced vehicles would pretty much go away.

The second one was a great deal... It could have sold for a little more.. I thought the headlight buckets looked a little glossy but I’m sure they were just polished over the years.. The underside looked dealer undercoated which doesn’t bother me, but bothers some I know...
The first car had a lot of K&N stickers on the air filter cover.. That’s kind of a turn off and usually when I see that along with yellow or red spark plug wires I feel like the car may have been romped on a bit ..
I’m not sure you could sell one of these in the 30s online without better, detailed media, a professional video walk around with inside and underneath, and a story about the car.. The guy clearly got his price from Vanguard but doesn’t have the pizazz or marketing ability they have. No one even knows how beat up they get on their prices either. The cars sit for a year or two at $36k and eventually sell..

Ok. A few things about the 2nd car. It's dirty (look at the dirt around the shifter and steering wheel), the radio isn't original, the rear louvers are bent, the headlight buckets have been repainted, which means the front bumper cover has been and the front parking lights are aftermarket replacements. I'm not saying the car has more than the listed mileage, but it wasn't a show car most of its life.
Without having a Facebook account, I can't see the 1st car, but I like the price.
