A nicer silver '85 IROC for less money.

This is from a FB ad which I am having trouble linking here. 57K miles, asking $15,500. EDIT: Weird, the ad just came up.

Price still sounds like too much. It's worth that much because of the stickers? or the color?

Well both, but it's a dealer who probably picked it up for $7500. Me personally? 10-12K sounds better.

Sure the price sounds like too much. I do the same when selling, because I’m going to get beat down on price. Start high, negotiate down to where it’s fair for both parties. I always see guys talk about how high stuff seems on ads. Offer what seems fair. The camaro listed here is at a dealer who advertises all over the nation. Every decent car on CL Atlanta, they have it. Place must be huge. I’d offer $10k, as Chaz said and they will meet you in the middle, if they know your serious. A silver 3rd gen is pretty rare in all fairness.

That's common sense, but not what I was talking about. The price is a lot higher than just room to negotiate. I caught my limit nearly 20 years ago, so thankfully I'm not looking.

Silver is so rare there were three(?) of them posted here in the last week... Don't seem that rare.
