I saw the other thread about '91-92 Firehawk photos and it prompted me to post something I've been meaning to for quite some time. I collect vintage Pontiac literature and have a few thousand press photos, slides, and transparencies of various Pontiac models from the the 1950s to 2000s. I also have the 91-92 brochure, stand up, and video. It got to me wondering about SLP press photos.

Did SLP distribute a press kit for the 91-92 Firehawk to media outlets and/or dealers?

And did SLP ever distribute factory photo(s) of the '91-92 Firehawk? Such as color or B&W glossy prints, 35 mm slides, or color transparencies?

I have such a kit for the 1993 Firehawk, but was wondering about the 91-92 models.

 

I've never seen much of anything like that but doesn't mean there wasn't.
I have seen an have some of the dealer type paperwork talking about the release and changes. There are a few blk white press type photos around too but not sure if they were done by Dave later.

Check out the Firehawk Owners Registry: www.firehawkregistry.com Mac Logan runs it and he owns a 3rd Gen Hawk so if anyone can help you, he's most likely the best person to ask. He wrote the book "Firehawk Fiercest of the Firebirds" and is somewhat of an authority on them. Send him an email through the website and he will answer you.
In addition to my 3rd Gen collection, I have a 94 Firehawk if you have anything 1994 Hawk for sale let me know.

 

Here is my ASC ZR-1 Spyder prototype along LT1 Spyder and original press photos, press kits, negatives.

I just got some 5" x 7" made of the
ZR-1 prototype along with 89 vette convertible. I just made and 12" x 18" mini poster of this one.

Binder came with all work from ASC including the first Vipers, etc.

@Rocky Rotella I have a 1991 Pontiac press kit. I bought it looking for 1LE specific info. It has the complete line up for 1991, slides and pics. PM me if you don't have this. I think have two other GM press kits ... but older ones.

 

The 1991 Pontiac press kit that I have makes no mention of the Firehawk at all, either in word, slide, or photo.

@IROC-MIKE Thanks for the info on Mac! I do know him and we've collaborated in the past. Unfortunately, I don't believe I have anything specific to 1994 Firehawks that isn't already known, such as the dealer slick.

@topduarte That's very cool! I hadn't seen that ASC concept before. I was able to acquire some pretty cool ASC photos that include the third-gen Suntrend concept and some very early 1998 WS6 mockup and prototypes. Very cool stuff!

@Mark_ZZ3 Thanks for thinking of me on the 1991 press kit. I believe I have that and like yours and @FrankieRider2 , mine makes no mention of the Firehawk. My 1991 (or 1992) Dealer Album does have a Firehawk brochure in it though.

 

I just checked my files. All I have is the 1993 Firehawk double-side sales sheet from / for dealers

 

Pontiac also released a 92 Firehawk promo video.
