Another rare Iroc Z shows up on Bring A Trailer. Very nice example and nicely optioned. I love that it is a hard top. What will this go for? Hard to put a number on this one. My guess $30-$35k

I almost bought that car 20 years ago. Back then it was MINT, with 10K miles. The seller wanted $10K which was all the money in the world.

Nice car: L69, 5-speed, 3.73 axle ratio, 4-wheel discs, popular color, CAMARO CAMARO CAMARO interior, first year IROC, rare car in terms of production numbers.
Reading only 18,000 miles, but it looks too "used" on the underside to invest in as a "museum piece." But that's the thing about photos; they can expose things that might not look so bad in person.
Still, it should be purchased for the enjoyment of driving it, IMO, not just to stare at it, so I don't see it fetching big bucks like recent auctions. And none of the shills are inflating the bids, probably afraid one of them will end up with it.
But, hey, who knows what the future holds? In another 20-30 years, if in this same condition it could be considered priceless.

With 18K miles why have the shocks/struts been replaced? Lower control arms look new as well as the sway bar links in front. But yet it still has original Gatorbacks? I'm also wondering why the hood insulation is swiss cheesed. I have never seen an OEM one looking like that.

I'm thinking $20k max on the car. Just doesn't reach out and grab me for some reason. Great condition for a 35 year old car though.

I think its because nearly all of the pictures are slightly out of focus and look like they were taken with a Razor flip phone from ~2005.
