Hi. WHAT SEATS ARE THESE IN THE PHOTOS? My 1989 IROC Z Vert was built with red, deluxe interior. Someone, over it's life, changed the RED interior, for Black & gray. I want to order OE style, reproduction upholstery, and I do not like the black rectangular inserts, on the original 1989 deluxe seats. I am OK with the solid color seating SURFACE and the black fabric on the back of the seat lean back and lower cushion. Thank you!

 

They look like some other GM type seats.

I could be wrong.

 

The rear seat, two bottoms and a solid, rear fold own backrest all fit perfect. I figure when they CHANGED the interior from RED TO GRAY/BLACK, they sourced another Third Gen F Body, because they also changed inner door panels (cards), carpet, etc.

They look like 89 Camaro deluxe seats to me. Upholstery looks like an aftermarket replacement kit, and the condition suggests it's from 20-30 years ago, when there weren't many, if any, factory-style patterns and materials available. And the fabric looks like Regal Velour, which has been the cheap, somehow-approved, aftermarket replacement material for 3rdgen Pallex cloth throughout the years, and it's still used in replacement upholstery kits today.

Here are some kits Hawk's offers for 89 Camaro seats. They're similar to what your car probably came with, but not exact fabrics. The same Regal Velour that you have now is still one of the fabric options.

I agree... Definitely third gen deluxe seats... But the material does not look stock... My 89 IROC vert had gray deluxe seats and the pattern was different... Also had Camaro stitched on the seat fronts down low.

 

Thanks Guys! I will look over the links above and some Camaro parts suppliers. Since I will be installing new front seat foam, with the upholstery kit, I will look to buy upholstery I LIKE, and matching molded foam. I do however, want to keep an appropriate OE look.

I DO NOT LIKE the 1989 OE upholstery with the solid (no pattern) contrasting black color rectangular inserts, in the seat bottom and back. MC
