85 camaro rims

My brother just let me have 16' rims off of a newer camaro. They have regular wide tires in the back and in the front the tires are low profile and wide. What modifications will I have to do to make them fit cleanly.

This is what the Suspension/Chassis/Brakes board is for. Your question would probably be answered over there already.

Other than the ******* profile in the back, they'll fit fine. The stock tire size is 245 50 ZR 16 all the way around. If your car didn't come with 16" wheels originally, you may find some minor tire-rub at full lock

The rims I was give were 16/8j they did alot of rubbing on the passenger side rear and did very little rubbing of the driver side rear. I had to put the old stock rims back on.

Since you never said what year the other car that the wheels came off how is anyone supposed to be able to tell you if it works?

If the wheels came off a 84-92 Camaro/Firebird they'll fit. 93-present Fbody wheels only fit our cars with spacers that cost about $300 a pair.

So if they were from an 84-92 and they rubbed then you need to swap them. The fronts and rears have different offsets and the rears will rub ont he tierods if you put them on the front hubs.
