Subgen Third gens

I am familiar with Firebirds, but camaros elude me a little.

What i am looking for is for the Camaro and Firebird there were several variations for bodystyles from 82-92, what were the year breakdows for each. There are minor changes from year to year, but these are the major Third gen changes....

Here is what I think is right for firebirds:

GTA's
87-90
91-92

Trans AM's:
82-83
84
85-90
91-92

Formula's
87-90
91-92

Firebird SE's
82-84
85-86

Firebird's
82-84
85-90
91-92

I really do not know the Camaro breakdowns.. Any help would be WONDERFUL

thanks...

John

Transmission: T56 Magnum (Pending) / T5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 / ?
Z28

82-84, 85-87, 91-92

IROC

Well, they basically didn't have any drastic changes, but in 88, the following changes occurred:

Different wheels.
IROC-Z badges replaced Z28 badges
IROC-Z decal moved to the back of the door
Ground effects stripe got inverted

Berl
I don't know

Base Camaro (LT, SC, RS, etc)

82-85, 86-87, 88-90, 91-92

There were little changes year by year but the major 1's were:

Z28:
82-84
85-87
91-92

IROC-Z28:
85-87
88-90

RS: (There were some in 87-88 in certain areas made in low numbers that were a slightly different in appearance, but not very)
89-90
91-92

SC:
82-87
88

Berlinetta:
82-85

F41:
I think 84-85

If there are any corrections to be made let me know.

Then there are the 1LE and B4C variations for the Camaro, and the Indy500 TTA Pace Car and Firehawk variations for the 'bird.

I think were getting too specific...

What I am looking for is if you see a car speeding past you at 70 mph, can you tell me what would be different.

I am trying to get a colage together for each of the different cars, and without taking every model from every year, I want generalizations. For example I KNOW the formula wheels changed in 88 from 87, but for all intents and purposes, the Formula looks pretty much the same from 87-90...

I guess I could add the 91-92 Firehawk to my list, but except for the wheels and the lack of decals, you could not tell one of those from a normal Formula...

Do you see where I am going with this?
