Where to get RPOs based on VIN?

Where to get RPOs based on VIN?
I went to the dealer today to try to get an RPO sheet based on me giving them my VIN but they said they can only go back to '90 for that and I have an '87. They said some junk yards might be able to go back farther but I'm doubtful of a junk yard having it and GM not. Anyone know where I can get this info?
