You have no rpo code G80? The Camaro White Book says rpo j65 required rpo code g80. but then the production numbers are j65 19.871, g80 15,327. You'd think that there would be more G80 than J65.

Go figure

It should have a "limited slip traction fluid only" tag on it. And yes posi is limited slip; all the manufacturers from the 60s had different names for limited slip diffs.

Hey

If u look in the 1985 Camaro Sales Brochure u will see that it say that if u have 4 Wheel Discs, Posi is standard....When I went and looked at my RPO codes, I have the 4 Wheel Disc code but not the Posi Traction code...I dont know what is goin on

Dirk handles the RPO decoder, if he doesn't know they're wrong he can't fix them.

yeah iw as wondering about that V73 thing ! i just noticed my 84 has power hidden antenna ! so..... lol

about the discs and posi deal, i gues sonly certain years were posi standard with the 4 wheel discs, maybe only on the SW6's like the 85 T/A one was that I cut up for parts last year, was 3.08 and 305 and 700 and such, so.... chevy must be different ?
