Could anyone tell me if my color is rare or not? I've asked several times but nobody tells me. Its an 90 camaro RS 2.8L 5-speed. could anyone tell me if there is any rare things with the 89 RS's that I could have chance of having and could look for? any info is greatly appriciated.

The only thing that is rare about a 90 RS in that color is that its one of 2,787 Medium Gray Rs's and that 90 was a 1/2 year of production. More important then the numbers is the condition, which looks to be pretty good. Keep it nice and it'll be worth somethign in the future.

Wow, that's exactly my old 89 RS. That car ran like a dog but I miss it cause the color was really nice.

The Camaro White book is the best source for Camaro numbers. The copy I use covers 1967-1997, shows a cover price of 12.95.

 

Ok, for some reason, I put 90 instead of 89. Is there more made in this color in 89? What are the numbers, and where can I look this stuff up at myself? I'm sorry bout that, I think I was being distracted by my girlfriend or somethin. Is there anything rare in the 89's as well? Thanx, and once agian I appologize.

Ok, that sux, but I wonder how many of those have been totalled/destroyed/lost/not in existance any more? I mean 13 years is a long time for 7,000 cars drop to 3 or 4 thousand left running and in good condition. Oh well, I never plan on getting rid of my car, so some day it will be the last one(or close to it).

 

I'd say that it dropped to 5 or 6K at the lowest. Don't feel bad, at least your car has great looking paint unlike some of us others (namely me).

 

I have one of 1,798 1990 Hardtop Iroc-Z's with the 305. I only wish i knew how many they were sent out the door with zero options and auto's with black/red combo. I have no pwr locks, mirros, windows, seat... No cruise, Cloth interior, 15 inch rims, But I LOVE my car! Besides it all adds weight =). And leather would be cracked and dead by now and i would slide everywhere on it.
