All Formulas came with that size tire from the factory. ALL had 16" x 8" rims

The only difference is that somewhere along the line they changed from VR tires to ZR tires I can look it up if your really really insitant and beg...

for clarification, you asked for the tire size, which is in fact 245-50-r16. The wheels/rims themselves are 16" x 8".

The tires themselves are actually about 26 inches tall, between 9 and 10 inches wide, and they fit on a 16 inch rim.

For a little tire trivia, that 245-50-R16 number comes from:

the first number is the tread width in millimeters.

The second number is a percentage. 50 means the sidewall height .50 times the tread width. So in this case, the sidewall height is 122.5 millimeters.

The r16 means it's a radial tire and it mounts on a 16 inch diameter rim.
