Rare at all?

OK Guys you will have to forgive me. I have been out of the F-Body thing for a while, and I am now just getting back into it.
I have messed around with 1st, 2nd,4th, but this is only my second 3rd gen.
I purchased an 88 IROC-Z hardtop, 350 L98 Auto, with the G92 performance axle option, and the rear disc brakes.
Is this a rare car or not? I had some guy tell me that it was pretty rare, but with some of the reading I have done I am not so sure.
Any info anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Thanks for the info guys. I had someone tell me the other day that he had an original 89 IROC with a factory LT-1, I just had to smile, and say wow! Anyway thanks for the input guys.

It's not really rare, but its definitely more desirable with those options.

If you are an IROC fan then it's a very nice car to own. Nice IROCs are getting harder to find. Rare? Probably not but it is a nice optioned late 80's muscle car.

G92 is something anyone who knows IROCs looks for...

Hey, maybe it isn't "rare" now, but it will be a car down the road that will be more desireable. Remember, almost 300k '69 Camaros were made....how many do you see now???

Someday, all third gens will be "rare," no matter what the production numbers state

Exactly and the ones with options like G92, will fetch the highest price and be the most desirable.

Yeah but certainly G92 made it to fewer cars than that...
