well chris, in 92 the heritage option comprised of a graphics package that was applied to the hood and the rear decklid only.......
anything else you see is a custom design.
the 92 production year gave us quite a few option on the z. you could opt for a white/red, red/black, black/red, and purple/silver all with color coded wheels unless unwanted.
the rs if your interested had white/red, red/black, purple/silver, and green/gold.
both the rs and the z28 came with 25th anniversary ensignia on the dash, the z28 came with a hard metal plaque on the rear decklid; although you will see some rs equiped with this as well.
the white/red z is the only way you could get a white foglight grill......all other z's came with the stock black/red chevy symbol grill. while all rs models had the plain stock grill.
most 25th's were equiped with color matched wheels, you could opt to have the standard wheel if you wanted. of the most rare is the green/gold package with the gold accented z wheels.
i'm sure there is something that i'm missing which you could look up on one of the registry sites.....good luck with your search. just remember that you will pay a premium for a 25th, so make sure to get one with very low mileage....otherwise your better off buying a straight 92 or 91 and applying the stripes yourself.
also, be careful since it is rather easy to purchase these stripes through gm and since all 92's have the 25th anniversary badge on the inside dash there are alot of fakes. since they do bring a premium it isn't that rare; ask to see proof before you make your purchase. otherwise you could be spending up to 1,000 or more just for 200 stripes.

RODS92Z, great looking car. I love the 91,92 Z28s especially the 25th Ann. cars. It was my understanding that the L98 350 cars could not be had with t-tops. Your's must be really rare.
Anybody have pics of the purple haze or polo green II anniversary cars with stripes ?
I have never seen either of those and would love to see them - especially the gold accented wheels.

You can get heritage stripes from Year-one. But it looks better if they are painted on. I would go with silver or black, would have to see a pic of your car and what color interior. If you painted them on you can get any color you want.

Classic Industries now sells Heritage kits in their catalog. www.classicindustries.com is where you can order a catalog...for $5 its like a toy catalog
They finally stopped selling the kit piecemeal...until recently it was like $100+ per hood stripe!! Now, the whole kit is like $169 for aftermarket stripes...
My girlfriend (not I
) saw and actually test drove a 3.1 '92 Heritage RS last summer. 71k miles, t-tops, loaded, she said it was mint....AND it was green with gold!! But with a lowly 3.1, I passed. I got them down from $8,900 (dumb dealer, eh??) to $5,860, and I never entered the showroom
After some thought, while I thought having a cool, rare-colored 25th would add nicely to my 30th, it was the right car with the wrong motor. With a 305 TBI I woulda bought it in a hearbeat...but I've had it with V6 third gens
