Re: door panels
I changed my interior over from gray to black and couldn't find any nice looking black door panels. I ended up having my old nasty gray's ones redone professionally in Fond du Lac, WI.

We did both door panels, two rear interior quarters (below), and carpeted the lower console and painted the vents black for ~$450. The flash was a little bright but these are really black and they matched the leather perfectly. They were worth the money.

Re: door panels
I am wondering why its so hard to find the correct door panel for the 89 to 92 firebirds and trans ams....They have a smaller hole in them where the door handle is....

Re: door panels
I think the panels are different from 88 to 89... they went from the long rectangular bezel to the teardrop style but I would like to see pics when you get them.... Here are pics of early firebirds and later firebirds and t/a's.....
thanks
thanks

Re: door panels
I have the deluxe black ones, plastic rails on top are cracked but the actual panels and arm rests are nice, map pockets are good as well.

Re: door panels
no problem, sent you a PM, and to anyone interested I removed the door panels today, look good, only issue is on the drivers side panel the attachment metal piece will need to be epoxied back onto the back of the door panel. Looks like someone removed the panel before and it came off. I will get a picture later today if you are not sure what I mean. The panel is made of a cardboard like material and the factory crimped on a sheetmetal piece around the edge for the the plastic attachment clips to hook into. The front metal piece popped off and a two part epoxy would work fine to hold it on. Pass side has some loose spots as well but none of the pieces came off.
Re: door panels

Re: door panels
Okay, lots of postings on here so I may have missed it...do you still need the door pulls/arm rests? I have a good set of black ones from my '87 T/A and they are boxed and ready to go.
