I am looking for the under-dash panel from the driver side it has to be out of an 82 Camaro with a manual trans. a later year piece and the slot for the clutch is not in the right place thanx for lookin

 

i parted a 4 speed 82 z28

what partsnumbers are on this piece

which part exactly ?

I have no idea what the Part number is but I Attached a Picture of the part I'm looking for BUT this is the wrong one I need one out of an 82 MANUAL

 

ohhh that panel hmmmm i cant recall if either one of these manual trans ones have had that piece in them or not hmmm i will have to do some searching around here


i think the manual transones will have a second cut out for the clutch pedal arm right ?

i would presume

i cant remember

i know i have my 82 t/a ones and 87 z28 ones too though

but both are auto trans factory

so no dice there

the one in the pic came out of an 87 5-speed camaro and it doesnt fit with the clutch out of an 82 4 speed

 

I have one from an 87 iroc 5sp and an 82 4sp berlinetta. They've been sitting in my garage for a few years. I don't know which is which so please identify.

 

I wish I could identify them. but the top one is from the passenger side, not the drivers, and the other one looks pretty much like mine

 

I'll keep looking because I know I took the drivers side out of my 82 Berlinetta before I sent the car off. Also I saw you had a post for a 4sp shift plate. I have a 4sp shift plate sitting in front of me, but the reverse is on the lower left.

 

The part # on the underdash panel is 14046129. I called up my GM dealership and they said it's discontinued and the only information they have left is it fits an 82-85 Camaro. If you're interested, I can take more detailed close up pics?

 

i have a real hard time locating a specific part like this around here, so many parts all over the place and could be anywhere, attic, over in the house, who knwos where, may take quite a bit of time
i need to gather up all third gen F body specific parts and put them all in one place somehow sometime

sooner than later

and see

then i can at least see what i do or dont have, because i am always seeing something i didnt know i even had everytime i am looking for something else for some other year make model
