Re: Check engine light module

It's called a "Lamp Driver" and was used on all Cars originally equiped with a Carb motor. It accepts a signal from the ECM and relays it to the Check Engine light. When I convert TPI and MPFI cars to Computer Controlled Carb engines I always need to install on of these things between the ECM and the C/E light in order to get the C/E light to work correctly. ( when the original Fuel injected harness is used. )

The Lamp Driver is just a small circuit board that slides inside the green case.

Re: Check engine light module

It would be really expensive to ship anything oversees,... A 9 oz. package would cost $24US for Priority Mail ( 6-10 days ) or $10US for first class ( who knows when it will get there ! )

I've got one if you need it......... I cut the green housing with circuit board inside from a car today. $12 + shipping and it's yours if you still need it. If not, no biggie'. I don't find Carb cars in the bone yards much anymore and I'd be glad to have this one as a spare.

If your interested just send me a PM !
