Looking for the shift plate that is the top of the center console, encompasses the window switches and shifter.

I've got a couple - but they are for earlier years ( 86-89 ) and don't have a "indicator" on the shift pattern that the later TA's had. Interested - or JUST lookin' for the 91-92 style ???

Quite frankly, I am interested. As long as I can switch over my shifter trim and boot from my current console, then it will work for me. But I am not 100% sure if I can mount my 92 shifter indicator on the pre 91 trim plate.

Basically my plate is delaminating around the PW switches, so all I need is the trim, I got everything else. Does anyone know if I can swap my 92 shift indicator and boot into a pre 91 trim panel?

You cannot mount the 91/92 slider indicator on the pre 90 panels.

 

do u have power mirrors? I have a decent one with the mirror switch in it and a couple ok ones with a few burn marks and such. Prices vary $25- $50 shipped in U.S. but I am not sure of the years I pulled em from.

Last I checked you could still get auto console plates new. It is part #: 10159094. You do need to cut holes for the power mirror and window switches though.

 

Yeah they are still available, but I don't really want to put a new one in the car bc it won't match the rest of the interior.
Also not sure if there are guides for where to cut the holes for pw pm switches.

 

You could buy a new radio trim plate for cheap if you want it to match. I am not aware of any guides. Maybe someone on this board has made one. I guess you'd have to go by how your old one looks.

Chris, I actually spoke with you through an email earlier this week about the 91-2 front air dam deflector sides. I am going to look at a shift plate on Tuesday, if it falls through I'll email you.

here is the 91 firebird shifter plate. item looks good, there is an alarm indicator light mounted on the plate. $50 for the plate without switches plus $10 for shipping. the whole console is $100 plus $20 for shipping in the us. the top armrest looks good, but one hinge is ripped off the cover. i found one lh driver side air dam piece. $5 shipping is $6.50 or i can ship it for free with another package.

Does anyone know why you can't mount the 90-92 shift indicator in the pre 90 plate? The plate is the same part number according to my catalog!

 

I dont think they have the same setup underneath for you to be able to screw the indicator section into.
BTW Did you get the pics I sent today?
