I'm buying an 86 Z28 Camaro tomorrow, but it has been gutted and I'm having a hard time finding some of the stuff.

I need both of the front seats, a pair of glass t tops,
all new locks and ignition, a new hood and louvers,
plastic panels for inside the hatch,
and the ground effects for the driver side

I'm mainly looking for info on where to find these things and the price range I'm looking at. any help would be greatly appreciated.

heres an update, I got the 86 home last night, and we were able to track down the guy that striped the car, we got both of the bucket seats back.
we are going to get a distributor and carburetor pretty soon.
the 91 RS is a 3.1 V6, it can get up and go. the 86 Z28 has a 305 painted yellow to match the car.
unfortunately the 86 will need a good bit of work before it will even start.

as far as plastic goes, I need the passenger side of the hatch area,
and I may need the part that covers the hatch lock as well.
I also need both of the side panels that go under the dash by your feet.
the plastic is black, so I would prefer them to match.

if I didn't describe the plastic all that well, I can take pictures of it.

although the car is a Z28,
I believe the ground effects on it are of the I-ROC style,
I thought I only need to replace the driver side, but now that I've cleaned it up I noticed that the passenger side is cracked right at the door.

I have found someone selling the t tops and the door locks, and I found a place to get the ignition as well, so I guess the ground effects and the plastic interior parts are all that I need now.

 

Cool , cause I have all the plastics available you need in black or just about any color made. I specialize in both interior, plastics and GFX. What year is the car again ? 86? Plastics are $250.00 + shipping for a full set, which you may need, or I can put together a set of whatever panels and pieces you need. I am in Indiana. Where are you located?

just wondering, does the full set include the center console as well?

that sounds good, but it may be a little while because I still have to get the carburetor and distributor. and they are a little pricey,

I'm probably going to end up rebuilding the motor in the 91 too,
its acting up

 

Normally the center console does not come included. Just black plastic panels. Door panels are separate as well. You get 2 kick panels, 2 bottom door sills, 2 rear arm rest panels, spare tire cover, pass side rear quarter panel, long driver side rear quarter with cardboard box, rear hatch motor cover, headliner trim piece over rear seat, and under hatch panel on the deck lid under side. If you dont need all the panels, I can substitute the center console inplace of some other panels of about the same price. Approx $100 for a complete console with a decent auto shift plate and top pad.

I ended up buying a red 1988 Camaro RS a few days after getting the other 2.
I used it to complete/replace all the interior parts of my 91 RS.

after I sell the shell of the 88 to a friend who'll be using it as a drag car,
I will be working on the black interior of my 86 a little more.
so within the next month I will probably buy the complete set of black plastic.
also I will be able to use the center console I took out of my 88 in the 86,
however I still the automatic shifter section.

and possibly the plastic radio adapter that allows a newer style cd player to fit in the old radio section.
it would be great if I could get some prices on that.
