I need a wiper switch for my 88. The one inside the steering column that the tun signal lever connects to. Its got intermediate wiper speeds, cruise, and tilt steering. Not sure if the last two matter or not. Thanks

 

well that sux i JUST scrapped a column that had this in it.,.. to shredder that i had for like a year and half laying in the attic

a tip though: you can take it from a few certain cars, such as the 1990 cutlass ciera front wheel drive cars, is same

I'll be taking a column apart from an 88 Silverado today, should be the same switch, tilt, int wiper, cruise. Will take some pics and advise.

 

I cannot believe advance wants $169 for your wiper switch. I did take the Silverado column apart. The wiper switch is different. It is for pulse wipers. Don't know if that will work for you. I do have a complete column from an 86 Bird with the same switch. I had held it back for another buyer and he has defaulted due to some monitary issues. $100 shipped to you without steering wheel.

 

I ended up finding one at a junk yard for 35. But a spare would be nice if the price is right.

 

Ya, the prices are crazy. The cheapest one I found new was 120.
