1986 trans am, looking for a front seat that is the two tone Carmine/Graphite

must be in good condition. Will pay for the entire seat or just the fabric.

bump. Ordered a fabric sample from California pontiac restorations for a set of seat covers, but it was terrible.


Trying to get a sample from 1a auto. I would still rather have an original seat in good condition

Cost me about $700 and I didn't use it for 86 I had, put it Recaros and sold it. I also found my BLK hobnail and plain BLK for 79 TA...

The sample on the right is terrible. The color is close, but the fabric is all wrong.

What i paid for it, It's new about $700. It's alot but that what i paid back then to get it.

Pass. Still waiting on fabric samples from 1a auto. If what they offer is close, I'm probably going to do that. It would be insane to pay 700 for fabric and then have to pay for it be make into seats.

got it! Cost me almost 500, but I already put down my deposit with the cover girl to get this fabric made into seats. Really excited about how this is going to look

I ordered mine in April 2014 and still haven't got my covers...

 

that's really weird. Have you tried asking her what the holdup is? You might want to. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I provided the cloth?

 

Kudos on the project, turned out really well.

Curious about several things, if you don't mind.
First thing is the cost of material. Is it because its factory original?
I'm headed down the same path, but paying $20-30/yard from a good local
supplier in Pasadena. (Maroon & Steel Gray, standard auto grade velour.)
From the factory, there's some pretty exotic foam lining material sewn into
the covers. What was used in your set?
Next, what was covergirl's cost for labor only?
And finally, the emblazened floormats are also very sharp.
Where did you get those?

Once again, looks awesome.

Yes, the cost was because it was the original material

The cover girl provides the foam

Her fee was around 300 for the front seats only

The mats are called Lloyds mats, you can get them from eBay

 

I have a really nice set of carmine front seat upholstery if anyone Is looking. Also 58mark did you buy that material off 1aauto?
