I am also always looking to buy/sell/trade NOS GM third gen parts too...

 

The carpet Classic Industries carries is pretty good. If you want 100% OEM parts in your car, then obviously that's not going to work, but it does look original (to me) and seems to fit well based on the cars I've seen with it installed.

 

I'm going for 100% original GM parts! Please let me know if you have a good clean original GM medium grey carpet! Willing to buy same day...

 

I've got a grey set from an 85,...... it's not an exact match for a 92 but it's in useable shape figured I'd mention it. I'm also on the east coast so shipping would not be "cheap". LMK if you want to see a pic.

Thanks for your reply. I really want to keep my car original and correct, so I am going to hold off and wait until I find a later model carpet that is the correct color. I really appreciate you trying to help me out though!

theres a '92 Camaro at the local junkyard with a gray interior. I pulled all the plastic panels of it. only issue is that the floor pans are rotted and the car was sitting on a puddle so when I pushed up against the floor my foot went through. however the back carpet looks good. not too dirty. I could pull the whole carpet out if youd like. might clean up. the car still had the original floor mats with the rubber gm logo. btw, i will be swapping out the entire interior on my Camaro (91) so lmk if you need some gray panels.

 

Do you have any pictures of the top and bottom of the carpet?

 

No but I'll go get some tomorrow. I'll pull it so it doesn't get wet and set it aside.

the drivers side is worn in the center. I took 'em a while back and put them in my car.
