Here are the other pictures of the 92 armrests and one of those is a side by side comparison on the 84 and 92.. I think the 84s are more lighter in tan color. The 92s are def darker..

No they have not been painted. They both have the grain texture in them.

I have a pair of 87 arm rests in Brown currently for sale on ebay uk.
As they are from the uk they are in A1 condition.
