it's a y shaped part that fits loosely behind the inside door handle.

I've been collecting them since a body shop fixed the door on my 83 Camaro back in 1997, and somehow lost the insert. Probably a dozen of them scattered around here. Normally, I'd say pay the postage and I'd send you this one for free, I'll never use it. But you're on my ignore list for being annoying, so maybe someone else can hook you up, and maybe you'll think twice before you run your mouth in the future when someone is trying to help you.
