Aftermarket Seats
Ive read in previous posts that flofit, carbeau and recaro seats are really good.
i like the looks of the flofits, but their site is no longer available. are they out of business?
i also am just looking for a simple racing seat. could i just get an inexpensive set from like summit or something and still have them fit in my car?
what is the best inexpensive aftermarket seat?

Seat Source > Home ( DNN 2.1.2 ) still sells the flo fits. I've got a set in my GTA and I love them. I'd like another set for my IROC eventually.

those are a little more out of my price range than i thought.
i saw some generic seats on summit with the name brand of Matrix. are those okay? will the fit in a 3rd gen?

Lifetime warranty on the frame, no logo on the seat, and they're available in vinyl, fabric, and real leather. Prices are about the same as the summit seats.

those are still pretty pricey at 300 a seat. If I had more money I would def. consider those. summits are around like 150-200. im not looking for something spectacular. just something to sit in. Has anyone heard of the Matrix seats that summit sells? I kinda like those. would those fit in a thirdgen?

Advance Auto parts sells racing seats for thirdgen cars from 150-200.

Those are for a 90 firebird, but I'm sure they're interchangable. If not, just look up seats for your car.

Neither those, nor the summit seats are a bolt-in in a thirdgen. You'll need to either modify the sliders that come with the seats, or modify your factory sliders to bolt to the new seats. This will be the case with every seat in this "entry level" price range.
