Power Seat Track reapair

Somehow I managed to break the front left seat track. There is a steel piece (that the bold that hodle the seat down goes in) riveted to an aluminum piece that has the teeth for the motor. Anyway, the steel piece is fine, but pulled out from the aluminum track...

Anyone ever fix one of these?? I cannot find a decent power seat track at a local junkyard..

Put a bigger rivet in palce or tap some threads into the aluminum track an install a flat head bolt.

Well, the aluminum was all damaged. Split between both rivets, not a lot of material left. What I did was get some 5/16 x 1" bolts with washers (2 each) and a nut, and cutoff the rivets on the steel "leg" and enlarge the craked aluminum to fit the bolt, and bolted them together that way. We'll see how long it lasts.. If it breaks again, I will see if one of the guys here at work can weld aluminum.
