Heads up display conversion?

anybody do it yet?

Axle/Gears: 3.08
Besides the obvious wiring issues.. You would also have to put the unit recessed in the dash and put a special windshield reflector "Thingy" for lack of better words, to show the HUD Display. Never seen it done before but I'll be sure to tell you nothing is impossible.

i've seen something similar fabbed up on a fiero on the net before. But it didn't use a factory HUD. Just used a 7-segment LED display and had it show the numbers' mirror image and then that reflected on the windshield. It was for a digital tach. The hard part was designing the tach circuit.
