Stupid qustion, Trunk release lever or button location?
I'm new to the forums. Just paid 1200 cash for a purple 92 camaro 5 speed. Yay!
I;m trying to put my old system in and and alas, I can't find the button to release the trunk. Tried to just open it with the key behidn the license plate (I can hear it lock and unlock) but the darn thing won't pop open. Is there a truck release button or lever hiding inside the car somewhere? Thanks!

no, when you unlock it you have to lift the hatch up manually, they don't pop like a trunk

on mine, when i turn the key and it unlocks, it flies right up. Im afraid that if i dont catch it, the glass will break! I guess that what good hatch struts will do.

electric solenoid hatch latch release mechanism was available and installed on some 3rg gen f bodies, i have one sitting here from a camaro i stripped, release button would be on the dash or on the console
