the speedo looks good but what the hell is the deal with the rest of it??? i bought the car like this....

Looks to me like some home made or cheaply made gauge faces that when they got hot, peeled up.

no it is an oklahoma car... i know the guy who owned it before me..... the car ran 13.2 on motor at 108 and with a 150 shot it ran 13.5 with a 2.8 60 foot at 121....the car now has no motor or trans and was in the process of being parted out... the doors shut like brand new the body lines have no gaps.... when i rode in the car it had no rattles... the body is perfect.....

it had a higher mph meaning it spun almost all the way down the track..... that car hauled ***!!!!! with some sticky tires easy 12's

I agree, that looks like it got wet. Maybe a coke was on the dash when they hit the NOS? Just kidding, but it does look more like water damage than heat.

You know on second look I think whoever put the stickers on probably tried cleaning the gauge faces with something. Either they didn't get it completely wiped off or it was still damp when the stickers went on. Just another guess.

well the car might have had really steep gears in the rear and he never re calibrated the speedo. i know when i had 373s in mine the speedo was way off.
