Door Locks in place of AC
MY 87 TA didnt come with power locks. IM going to have them installed but I want to put these switches in place of the AC to control the locks. All the AC was removed b/c i removed the pc to go carbed. What do you think and is it possible. Also what are thoughts like on a fiberglass center console all the way up to the AC unit as 1 piece.

What is the final covering on the top pic"the white one"
Looks like plaster or something....
Looks great, what did you use as a template "wood or plastic"
Thanks

so u used the stock center console and then removed the fiberglass from it when it was dry..?
The black bezel around the ac and stereo did u leave that in fiberglasss or remove it once done.?
Im really interested in this but have no clue where to start with it...
I would like to make the whole thing from wood then fiberglass over it or would u recomend the way u did it better.

left bezel in it
then i covered it with hard board to raise the surface so i can have rounded edges

where i messed up was i used fiberglass cloth instead of fiberglass mat. never done this before. the cloth is too stiff and wouldnt wrap very well, kept popping back up. got real pissed, then i got some mat after some research on here and it went right on. wrapped well around the curves. i am just dreading the sanding part.
