I've been trying to solve this mystery for a while and decided to ask the experts..Seems like every company has a different name for this. I think it is Carmine Red with Silver/Grey inserts.

I can't find my RPO sticker. How do you tell if it is a Deluxe or Standard Interior? I'm getting ready to buy parts for it and I'm not sure what it is called.

Car is an 86 Trans Am.

not sure .but the red is preaty sharp i have a 84 trans am done in camel tan it looks so retarded changing it to black and red

 

i just saw a T/A with that interrior go through the junk yard a few weeks ago, thought it was nice !

 

i've seen quite a few of those around. Quite nice although I'm rather fond of pure black lol

Is that TA mentioned about at the junk yard still there? If so, could you send me the name of it and a phone number so I can call them and see if they have some of the parts I need.

When I had my interior reupholstered I ordered the carmine red. I think it is the closest match you can find. You can check my cardomain site for before and after pics or I will post some pics when I get a little more time.

 

Its the standard interior. The deluxe (just the deluxe or gta door panels i believe) wasn't offered until 1988.

 

I believe that's the deluxe interior for 1986. The base interior would have had the standard plain vinyl door panels and seats.
