Headliner install?

Replacing a headliner is pretty easy. It's basically just held in place by the components around it. You remove everything that's in the headliner's way, then it comes right down. This includes sail panels, the retainer around the seat belt, a-pillars, sun visors and dome light/overhead console. There are also 3 clips holding it in place at the top of the windshield that you'll need to pull out.
The new one goes in the same way, but without those clips near the windshield.

I have no idea, I never installed one.
If I recall, some 2nd gens had the rod-style headliners that were held up with steel rods that the fabric looped around, but the later ones may have used the more modern style fiberglass/cardboard with the foam glued to it. That later style I would expect to install in a similar manner to the thirdgens.
