adding a cargo shade

I have a 1991 Camaro RS, I just got a black cargo shade with the 2 mounts, just was wondering if anyone had any tips on mounting it, (my car never had one im adding it myself) Obviously I will have to cut the holes in the 2 panels, will the 2 mounts hold it in place with the plastic panel or is there something that those attach to also? I have been searching for a thread, I thought I saw one before with a "how to do" type deal. Cant seem to find it again

Remove the plastics; they have the cut outs marked on the back for the mounts. Cut those out, since your car wasn't equipped for the shade you won't have the metal backing for the mounts, you can get the originals and weld them in or make something. I have known people who just squeezed it in there without actually screwing the mounts. Do you have the under hatch piece because you will need it to make the cover stay.

No picture, cut the plastics, remount them and figure out what you need to put back there to mount the shade mounts (2 screws) I have an under hatch piece, but it is black, let me know if you can't find one.
