I have a chance to get a locking floor storage setup for free(guy owes me parts). It has the electric pull down like my car and I was wondering if these will interchange. I know I will have to do something about my third brake light contacts but, that is not a problem. Does anyone have pics of the older style compartments I can look at? I haven't been able to find any on here.

 

I am pretty sure you will need the right plastic piece, plus there are brackets that you will need from a donor car to hold up the cover.

 

I can get everything from the car. In fact, it is still in the carand I will be removing it. Installation I can do. I am mainly needing pics and info about the area around the latch and the pull down mechanism.

 

I will see if I can get ya some or use the donor car as reference.

I have one of those cover sitting around with the Bose speakers in it, I will try and get you some pics asap.

 

The one I found has a hole in it for a pin on the hatch. This is where I would have to cut for my electrical contacts for my brake light.

Yeah, I saw that a while back. I am trying to see if the early hatch motor cover will work in my car. I am not afraid to modify something to make it fit but, I don't want it to look like crap.

 

Ya know saw one those at the yard this weekend but hinge was destroyed.But with that like might just goahead and either get it and fix it or build one myself.Thanx.
