I know that there are spray's out there that will work for this, you might try doing an indepth Google search for products that adhere well to plastic.

Just be careful with your choice of color if you decide to do this. Lots of people have gone and tried something along these lines, and most have failed to make it look relatively pleasing. You might try doing some additional research on TGO before committing yourself to the project. Paint is very hard to undo.

there is no paint in the world that will not chip or scratch. I have repainted interior parts before using SEM brand paint for flexible plastics. I have done it primering the part first, and done it without the primer, I have even tried the clear coating. Places like yearone and classic industries sells interior paint that will come close to matching the stock colors but they are usually a shade or two off. Krylon makes paint for plastics. If you do decide to use paint, remember to remove all items from the interior. Use a paint prep degreaser/cleaner, a tack cloth and don't touch the side you are going to paint because you'll end up with finger marks where the paint didn't stick. Practice on cardboard first. Use several light coats.

Check out the LED light bulb mod, it's pretty tasteful when done properly and you don't have to worry about getting the runs from the spicy interior paint.
