I want some opinons on interior
Eventually I'll be painting my car red and black two tone, black on top, red on bottom. I thought perhaps I should carry the theme to the interior. Right now the interior is gray. I was thinking of painting/dying all the gray plastic pieces black, the sun visors black, and leave the carpet, seatbelts, sailpanels, and headliner gray. The stitching area on the door panels that separates the vinyl from the carpeted part I was thinking about doing with red, along with the vents and perhaps the gauge bezel. The carpeted part on the door panel would remain gray, with the arm rest and the vinyl being dyed/painted black. Would this look ricerish? I want to get other's opinions before I go ahead with this. I think the black would definately be ok, but the red may be over the top. The paint scheme will be like the one in this picture, except with red and black. Thanks in advance!

So you'll have black, gray and red in the interior? Too much color. Personally I like a somewhat subdued interior in a car with a more exciting exterior like yours. The outside of the car is the showpiece, so don't build an interior that takes away from it. I'd say keep the interior clean, maybe with a gray/black or gray/graphite interior, but don't bring any color into it. It'll make it too busy and take attention away from the exterior. Look at any nice modified car, and usually it's got a single color, perhaps 2 color interior, and usually with colors that compliment the exterior, not compete with it. Rarely do I see high end show cars bring the exterior color into the interior unless it's an older car with a steel painted dash.

i was actually thinking about the exact same paint job cause two toning these cars is kinda hard but i was going to do the reverse black on the bottom red on top. But for the interior i think black with red trim always looks good in these cars exspecially with that paint job

The minute you bring red into the interior, it's going to look cheap. Other than a super clean factory red interior, I can't think of any time I've ever seen red in a thirdgen interior that didn't look terrible.
