Fourth Gen. Dash Wiring...

So, I've read the sticky, and that didn't really help. I am swapping a dash from a 96 Camaro into my 88 Trans Am. Would this cause any problems, since the lights need to come on and come up in my car, but only come on in the Camaro? Also, I had a digital dash that, obviously, wouldn't fit, but I didn't want the Camaro's analog gauges... would it be hard to go from the factory gauges to aftermarket? For example: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...53+4294891681+

What would be involved?

Re: Fourth Gen. Dash Wiring...

not hard at all. for the pop-up lights you need to add an extra wire to the connector and wire it up so your headlights go back down, ill find the diagram for it tonight.

Re: Fourth Gen. Dash Wiring...

I wired a 93-96 Camaro dash to my 91 Firebird and didn't have any problems with the headlights going down.
