Gauge Swap, Z28 from 82 Berlinetta
Gauge Swap, Z28 from 82 Berlinetta
I removed the front dash cover, the two screws in the bottom right section, but it still resists when I try to pull it out. Are there any other measures I have to take? I'll probably have to take off my steering wheel, but I still have a lot of room to somewhat remove the gauge section. What do I have to do to get rid of this resistance?!?

I'm unclear about which cluster you're discussing and/or the year(s). The Z28 through 89 would have a speedo cable that must be released before the cluster will pop out. Furthermore, isn't the Berly digital?

I have an 82 Berlinetta Cluster. I'm putting in a late 80's Z28 cluster. How do I pop off the spedo cable? I know there's one on the cluster I'll be putting in. Does the dash require coming out?
