Steering Wheel - Help !
So what should i do.... remove my steering wheel with radio controls and remove the radio to put in a new radio and like a 1990 steering wheel . OR if anyone has tried before, a steering wheel controls adapter, i know they have them for newer cars but i cant find one for my steering wheel on sites such as crutchfield. Also i wouldnt even be considering this if i could get my tape deck to work so i could use my mp3 player.. THanks ! -- Pete

What about a 4th gen steering wheel with radio controls - that might be an option as well - the 4th gen wheels are newer, and look better around the airbag area, and they are swappable - you just need to do some wiring because the airbag connector in the 4th gen wheel is smaller than that in the 3rd gen wheel.

I tried to get my wheel to work with an aftermarket stereo and I ended up just swapping it all.I kept my old stuff in case i ever swap back.People on here talked about an adapter but i could never find one.I waited for two or three years driving around without a radio. Then I just swapped out the stereo and don't use the steering wheel controls.
