Help with wiring drivers side power seat in 3rd gen
I recently purchased a power seat for my camaro and am trying to connect it to a 3rd gen without power seats. Can anyone tell me how to wire it? There appears to be only one plug with two wires (one is orange with a small black stripe and the other is black with a small blueish grey stripe). I assumed these would be positive (+) and negative (-) but after attempting many different scenarios nothing seemed to work. Even tried to ground the seat base directly and other assorted trials.
Can any one shed some light on what I need to do to get these to work?
Thanks a bunch for any help what-so-ever.

I don't remember the wiring colors - but I just ran a + line from the fuse box with an inline fuse to one wire on the seat, and ran a ground wire under the seat to a screw already located under the carpet by the seat belt retriever.

Yup orange wire to fusebox, doesnt have to be switched ignition you can use one of the ports that allows you to use power seat even when the key is out of the ignition. I also wired in a 15amp inline fuse for safety's sake. Black wire just simply ground it to 1 of the 4 bolt studs on the floor.

You guys are awesome! Seat is installed and working great!
Of course, I forgot about the inline fuse so I have to put one of those in - don't like electrical fires and melted wires...
Thanks for all your help...
I really appreciate it!
