Turn Signal Lever Question

I got rid of my cruise control and want to get a non-cruise control turn signal lever for it...so it will all match. My current lever has maybe 4 very small wires going to it. Are those wires for the cruise control or something else? Can I cut them just to get rid of them so I can put the non-cruise contol lever in? Any help is apprecaited. Thanks

Re: Turn Signal Lever Question

I'm pretty sure those wires are for the cruise only. You can usually unhook them under the steering column and fish them out when you pull the lever. The lever just pulls out, wind it around some and pull pretty hard.
