Somehow tinting that plastic cover that's infront of the guages and having neon and or LED's behind the guauges that are bright enough to just light up the dial and numbers? I thought it'd be a cool idea if you could do that and somehow just wire the guauges to turn on with the ignition instead of running parking/headlights.

(Ex. Kinda like that cover you can buy for an ipod that's tinted almost complete dark but once you touch the ipod you can see the screen.)
