Ok, I have an '82 TA and since they didn't make black seatbelts in '82 I found some from an '82 Camaro. I already know that in '83 they changed the retractor from the ceiling to the floor, and that the door sills also changed.

When I got them I noticed that the front receivers were not in the best shape so I began to look on ebay for some. I found a set and asked if they were from an '82. They didn't respond but I bought them because they were dirt cheap. Well, it turns out they were the later style with the red button (85+) and they DON'T LATCH with the old style.

So now I'm on Ebay again looking and found a set. However I found out from the seller they are from a '92. I told him I need an '82-'84 set since they are not compatible. Well, He must know more than me because he insists they will interchange even after I told him they don't, and I have 2 different sets to prove him wrong....

this is what I hate about Ebay....
