Head Rest's

I have an 89 Firebird. Just bought some nice seat covers. Can someone tell me how to remove the head rest?

Re: Head Rest's

Jerk it upwards really hard

There is a small clip thing that will prevent you from putting it back in there easily

Use a small thin piece of metal or a bent butter knife to hold the clip out of the way on reinstallation

Re: Head Rest's

raise headrest , slip a thin piece of metal [slim jim ] down the front of headrest support , lower headrest & slim jim together , raise headrest and remove , then remove slim jim . do not just ****** it out . you will break the retaining clips .
