Re: colored steering columns

I'm not aware of other colours in the Camaros, but not just the Camaro's used that particular steering column. Many other GM/Chevy vehicles used the same one. And they came in all kinds of colours (Red, Grey, Black, Blue, etc). The '80's S10 & S15 trucks and Blazer's/Jimmy's had the same one for example. The only differences was the wheel style and how long the steering shaft extended. The ignition set-up, tilt feature, the multi-function stick (with the cruise, blinkers, washer/wipers, etc) were also all the same.

Maybe they were referring to any column that was compatible with your ride?

Re: colored steering columns

I want to see one with a matching dash pad. That too only came in black. I did see a tan dash pad once tho. It too was interesting.

Re: colored steering columns

They were referring to matching columns. I believe C4's without the telescoping column had the same column as well. My remanufactured column was sandblasted and rattlecanned, then I subsequently scratched it with my column lock. Oh, sad times.
