GTA parking brake woes
Hey guys, I have a '90 GTA with a 5L 5 speed, and I can't for the life of me find a single Firebird with the right interior parking brake assembly. (The one in the center consule) Is it GTA specific? THey all have the wrong cable inter-link assembly, and the amount of cable length seems too small, does that mean my e-brake is stretched? or is the e-brake assembly GTA specific in some way?

I am not sure when exactly but somewhere around 90 they switched to a self adjusting mechanism for all thirdgens. You'd need to figure out which you have and find the same style for a replacement.

All 3rd gens have the center console brake handle. The cables themselves, vary between drums, discs (PBR or not calipers), etc. So yeah, you'll hafta find cables, for the type of rear you have.
