Re: 4th gen rear seat question

Barren, as in dead space.

When I did that to my 92, I didn't do anything. In fact, I've never seen anyone do anything.

The dead space is so minimal, nobody will notice it, unless you point it out.

Re: 4th gen rear seat question

It was supposed to be a bar(round piece) on each side where the old seats swiveled on.You can't see the drivers side but you can see the passenger side. The back rest doesn't come down far enough to cover the little bar on the passengers so I was wondering if anybody else had this problem?

Re: 4th gen rear seat question

Apparently your car originally had the "split folding" rear seat in it. Since the 4th gens only used a 1 peice rear seat backrest this bracket is now exposed.

You can just get a spot weld drill bit and drill out the spot welds so the bracket can be removed.
