Which color should I get?

I'm going to get some Nordskog digital gauges, which will hopefully be more accurate than the stockers. I'm not sure what color I want to get though. They come in red, green, and amber, or in blue for an extra $25. The red would match my car (red ext. gray int.), but I think the red looks old fashioned. I'm leaning toward the blue. What do y'all think? Here is a picture of the 84-89 gauges:

Re: Which color should I get?

I think blue gauges would look silly in a red car.

Re: Which color should I get?

I'm leaning towards blue because it will kinda match my headunit (it has a blue/greenish display). I had the light up gauge overlays with my 110 cluster and those lit up blue and I thought they looked good.

Does anyone else have any opinions on the color?

blue can be straining on the eyes. i did some led conversions to blue and while it looks good, and matches the stereo.. but it's sorta annoying.

The gauges are $400 here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...165638584&rd=1

I havn't bought anything yet because I'm still debating on the color and whether I want to spend $400 now. The manufacturer sent me this picture to get a better idea on the coloring:

I think blue or green. I agree red digital looks dated.
