I am looking at new seat covers.. When i bought the car, there were some fairly cheap covers on the seats, and they obviously wore quickly. So this autumn i tore them off. The seats underneath were in a fairly good shape (a few small tears in the drivers seat, but what do you expect). There is only one issue..

The Car is dark blue metallic, with black carpet and black interior.. and the seats are gray. The color combination is not exactly perfect, to put it mildly.

It seems that the foam in the seats themselves is pretty good, so i am looking to pull some new seat covers on, mainly because i like having original seats as opposed to a stripped out racing seat. Apparently the covers you can buy from Irace, Hawks and so forth is pretty good quality. But i want to be certain that i get the right covers (I live in Norway, so returning goods and so forth is a bit of a hassle, because of distance). As far as i can see from Irace, I either have the Camaro 304 or the firebird 401 seats. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

The seats themselves have probably been replaced at some point in the cars life. So i cannot go by the model to identify the seats unfortunately.

Secondly... anyone have any pictures of the different seat covers available? I would like to see an example of the various styles, if anyone else have installed these covers previously.

I will probably go for some black/blue or black/gunmetal type color combination.. But i am really uncertain about the color choice, And the model type. Any hints or pictures of installed covers is appreciated.

Those are stock 1985 seats that came in all Camaros unless you got the upgraded LS Conteur seats.

 

The OE seats in my 85 had adjustable headrests (like the L/S seats).

Those are the '85 base cloth seats. There was also the custom cloth with separate head rests and the L/S Conteur seats.

then it's a matter of choosing color combinations.
