Carpet Fitment over the years?

Does anyone know why a moulded carpet for a 87 camaro wont fit in a 90 camaro? Did anything change on the floor?

I rang an australian supplier that had advertised moulded carpets to suit 82-87 for $140AUD, but he said that a carpet for a 90 model was different and would have to be made out of a kit of 8 pieces and cost me up over the $400AUD mark.

Looking around at the USA carpet sites they all seem to imply that the carpets are the same shape thought out the years.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Left-hand or right-hand drive?

Right hand drive but apart from moving the heal pad over to the other side, there are no modificatiosn to the floor at all.

Huh?

Yeah i realise that but my question is more if theres any reason that a molded carpet advertised for a 87 car is going to fit in my 90 car.

Re: Carpet Fitment over the years?

Just being right hand drive shouldnt affect the carpet aside from drivers heelpad location

Should be no difference between the years
